Background
Retired Maplewood school principal. Fernbrook member since 1994, elder since 2017.
Ruth spent thirty years in Maplewood schools, the last twelve as a principal, and she has been placing people where they flourish ever since. She matches every new person to a Community Group herself and coordinates the citywide Serve Maplewood Day each September.
She has attended Fernbrook since 1994, which means she remembers the gym years and will happily correct anyone who romanticizes the folding chairs.
